Group Head of Health & Safety at Tayto Group

by Claire Wroblewski

I wasn’t actively looking for a new job when Sophia contacted me, however when she explained the role and the company’s ambitions I agreed to be put forward for the role. Sophia was very thorough in her briefing, explaining who would be interviewing me and what they were looking for. I felt the interviews were very much a two-way process, I wanted to make sure that I would fit into their organisation and my personal aspirations could be accommodated. It’s always a little daunting to leave the comfort zone of your current job to venture into something new, however I felt that my new company was very welcoming and keen to put my skill set to best use. Having been here for a month I am really pleased I took the plunge and already feel part of the family. Throughout the process Sophia kept in regular contact with me, giving feedback and support, from initial contact, through the interview process and during my notice period at my previous employer. It was lovely to meet her in person for the first time this week when she came to site to check how I was getting on.
