Customer Service Operator (Export / Customs)
£22,000 - £25,000 + Benefits
My client is a leading International Logistics provider, and has been providing complex logistics solutions to a diverse client base for over 100 years. Due to a period of sustained success, they are looking to recruit a Customer Service Operator to join their highly motivated team.
The role of Customer Service Operator will see you overseeing the completion of the full road freight process from start to finish, acting as the department ambassador and link between colleagues, internal / external customers, stakeholders and other partners. This is a customer-focussed position, and will involve dealing with customers face to face, over the phone and via written communication.
To be considered of the role of Customer Service Operator, you will need to have the following skills & experience:
• Customer service experience gained in a variety of face-to-face & telephone environments
• Excellent administrative and organisation skills
• Strong communicator, with an ability to build rapport quickly with a range of stakeholders
• Stable work history
• Experience in Logistics / Freight (advantageous but not essential)
The Customer Service Operator role comes with a starting salary of between £22,000 - £25,000, with the top end of the salary bracket reserved for candidates with Logistics / Freight experience. You will receive excellent training and ongoing career development, alongside a good benefits package.
