HSE Recruitment are exclusively working with a leading charity and retail group on the recruitment of a Health and Safety Manager on a contract basis. This role requires an immediate start, and will run for approximately 3 months. The role can be based from home but will require UK travel as and when necessary/allowed. Due to the locations of sites, a Midlands base would be the ideal.

As a Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for looking after a variety of multi functional sites, ranging from labs, to healthcare, to retail and offices. The retail section in particular requires some support creating a plan to re-open alongside government and covid guidelines. There is a lot of re-active work due to the nature of the business that requires support, and you will be responsible for looking after accident and incident investigation and management.

You ideally will have a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) as a minimum and will come from a healthcare, veterinary, lab or retail environment. In return you will receive a day rate of circa £200-£240 per day (plus travel expenses).Please note that this role does sit inside of IR35, and therefore requires you to work through an umbrella company.
