HSE Recruitment are currently exclusively working with a very exciting company in the utilities sphere, on the recruitment of a Human Factors Specialist. This is a brand new role, and a fantastic opportunity for someone to come in and really shape the future of a company, and it's employees, whilst working with an enthusiastic and passionate team.

As a Human Factors specialist, you will be providing expert advice across the business, proactively leading on campaigns and strategies with stakeholders of all levels, to deliver improvement programmes and drive continuous improvement. You will be leading the integration of human factors into existing company processes, developing a culture of learning and adaptation and developing company process and personal safety.

You will hold a Degree in BSc Human Factors / Ergonomics / Organisational Psychology or equivalent
as well as membership of IEHF as a minimum, but will have a strong understanding of how the principles relate not only to safety, environmental, security and other business concerns. A NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent would also be an advantage. We are very open to speaking to both experienced professionals, but also new graduates starting their career journey who may need some development. Most important is a passion for Human Factors and someone who is bright, engaging and curious.

In return you will receive a base salary of circa £37-44k per annum, plus associated benefits. Ideally this role would be based from the Midlands, but we will also consider candidates in London, or East or North West England, as long as you are within distance of the Midlands.
