HSE Recruitment have been briefed on a diverse and interesting Northern Based Regional HSE Manager position for a Global manufacturing and engineering business. This role will work as part of a wider HSE team in an autonomous capacity supporting 5 key sites in the North of the UK. This role will be key to supporting, providing guidance and moving the business in the right direction with their Health, Safety and Environment policy.
This role will cover five sites and you will be required to split your time regularly between the five with occasional travel to other UK locations. Four of the sites are in the North West so ideal commutable areas include Manchester, Macclesfield, Warrington or Wigan to name a few but there is also one site in the North East.
This is a general SHE position, hands on, supporting the sites including but not exclusive too, risk assessments, training, auditing, investigations and some projects. You will be responsible for the management systems across these sites. Health and safety first and foremost is of utmost importance as is ensuring compliance with the companies health and safety procedures. Communicating clearly and professionally with all stakeholders. Oversee and apply the Health and Safety Management system using a Plan, do, check, act philosophy.
NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum but Diploma would be desired
Manufacturing experince would be advantageous
Experince in a similar HSE supporting or managing role with circa 5 years experince
The salary on offer for this position is up to £46,000 + car or car allowance.
