Beyond Property, Purchasing, HR and IT, more than being part of our Finance or Marketing teams, beyond even Sales and Service, every role in every business area offers unique opportunities to make an impact on the future of mobility and the automotive industry.

What to Expect

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Safety Advisor to join the Corporate Safety function based in Halewood.

You’ll develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, to raise awareness, influence process changes, drive continuous improvement and the adoption of best practice, and external stakeholders to enable achievement of business objectives.

You’ll join an existing team of Safety Advisors, providing health and safety advice, audit and ensuring manufacturing sites are fully compliant with all relevant current and future legislation. Also, where appropriate you’ll co-ordinate activities of external regulators, auditors or third party consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and conduct internal audits, complete reports and recommend corrective actions, and support the development of safety initiatives and associated communication programmes.
• Support the Safety Manager implementing and creating governance that will be used across the business.
• Plan and undertake internal reviews or projects, in accordance with agreed working practices, appraising the relevant risks, processes and controls to identify opportunities for improvements to the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance systems on the site

With your excellent communication skills, you’ll have the ability to adapt your approach when dealing with varied groups of stakeholders both internally and externally. Due to the nature of this role you’ll need a full NEBOSH Diploma or recognised equivalent.

As an independent, motivated individual, you’ll be able to deliver the importance of safety within the workplace. You’ll be used to working in a fast paced, diverse environment and continuously be up to date with new legislation. A driving license is also essential for the role as you’ll be expected to visit other sites and experience within a manufacturing environment would helpful but not essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and forward-thinking individual to join a world-leading and highly regarded organisation, helping to drive Safety performance across our business.

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
