HSE Recruitment are currently working with an exciting and ever growing company, on the recruitment of a permanent Health and Safety advisor, to be based from their South Lanarkshire office.
As a Health and Safety Manager you will be comfortable working to a senior level, and working closely with directors and other senior team members providing effective guidance and information on Health and Safety. Looking after a team of advisors, you will be responsible for providing Heath and Safety support across a variety of projects throughout the telecoms life cycle, such as installation works, street works, rigging etc. You will lead on accident investigations, undertake inspections and audits of operational sites, look after new starter training, support with tenders and RFI's all why working towards continuous improvement.
You will have extensive and demonstrable experience of working in a telecoms environment but ideally more focused on the engineering side (such as installations and maintenance) than civils and construction. You will have a minimum of NEBOSH Certificate although Diploma would be preferred and a distinct advantage. A NWRSA qualification and knowledge of street works would also be an advantage, as would awareness of asbestos regulations and/or a qualification. You will be very comfortable with safety system and ideally will be an internal or lead auditor.
