HSE Recruitment are currently exclusively working with a leading and major engineering and transportation consultancy on the recruitment of a HSEQ systems coordinator. This role is a permanent position and ideally will be based around the York area, however UK travel may be necessary.
As a HSEQ Systems Coordinator you will be responsible for working closely with the HSEQ team, but also the Certification team. Responsibilities will include admin and clerical work/systems work and internal audits across the multiple UK sites. You will work closely with external certification bodies and managing any changes to documentation as necessary, and maintaining and improving the internal system.
The role can be very detailed focused, and requires someone with good attention to detail, with a great knowledge of systems and auditing – in particular quality. You must be extremely engaging, a real trouble-shooter (able to present solutions and not problems), an excellent team player, with a natural ability to see how to pull things together and inspire at all levels.
Ideally you will have experience of working in a large scale consultancy, and will have a real commercial eye. Some experienced of engineering or similar would also be a bonus. Qualifications are not as important as personality for this company, however you must hold NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent as a minimum, In return you will receive a salary of £35-40k per annum, plus travel expenses and associated benefits.
