HSE Recruitment are currently exclusively working with a FTSE 100 manufacturer, on the recruitment of a HSER Manager. This role is offered on a 6-8 month contract basis and is based in East Cambridgeshire.
As a HSER Manager you will be responsible for driving a safety improvement culture across a busy site, supporting and coaching across all levels in the organisation. You will work closely with site leadership to develop the safety action plan, will also be responsible for and monitoring HSE related statistics and incidents. You will develop and maintain the existing management system, deliver training, and manage the internal audit schedule, amongst other duties.
You will have worked extensively within a manufacturing environment - although experience of a similar role in food, beverage or packaging manufacturing would be a distinct advantage. You will be NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum, but ideally would have, or be working towards, your Diploma. Most important are strong leadership and management skills, alongside the ability to truly engage with people at all levels. As this role is on a 6-8 month contract basis, you will ideally be available immediately.
