Regional EHS Manager - UK and Europe

Job title :- Regional EHS Manager

Location :- Home based but able to travel once a week to the head office Tewksbury

Reporting to :- European Regional EHS Manager

Remuneration :- £60,000 -70,000 per annum + Benefits

If successful, you will work with the corporate team across the 9 UK and 7 European sites to ensure uniformity of standards, processes and procedures across the group, driving standards upwards.

Main Responsibilities :-

• Evaluate and influence EHS culture across all 16 sites

• Champion complex EHS projects circa 3-5 per quarter

• Influence and collaborate with EHS professionals and relative stakeholders and advise on EHS matters

• Partner with site based EHS professionals and create bespoke resources for the site regarding the EHS Management system

• Review and tailor specific EHS training packages

• Educate sites on regulatory changes and audits based on region and offer sound advice and direction

• Share best practice and promote continuous improvement across the sites

• Enthusiastic, robust and engaging

• Strategic and driven in their approach

• Strong Leadership and Management skills

• Able to influence, gain buy -in with strong communication skills to deal with a vast amount of stakeholders with different expectations

• Converse in layman's terms and relate on a personal level

Required qualifications/experience :-

• Degree in either Engineering, Environmental, H&S or Chemical

• Experience in working within a manufacturing or engineering environment across multiple sites- ideally with chemical or solvents experience

• ISO 14001
