We are excited to recruit on behalf of a national fuel company for a SHEQ Advisor. Within this role, you will be responsible for the Health & Safety on site whilst ensuring training is carried out in line with the company's objective. You will be responsible for delivery and development of the group SHEQ policies.



In order for the organisation to remain an industry leader the successful applicant we be required to assist with, but not limited to:-



Site audits & process reviews

Ensuring RAMS are accurate and up to date

Assisting with CDM requirements

Delivering Tool box talks via conference calls and onsite

Collating and resolve action points from audits

Arranging/ensuring calibration of safety critical equipment

Arranging/ensuring PAT testing of equipment

Leading the continuous improvement groups

Reviewing works to ensure quality standards are being maintained

Developing internal works management software systems

Assist with the production of reports based on company KPI's



Working within an ISO framework the successful candidate will be required to be part of the internal audit team, contributing to the audit process and helping drive through improvements throughout the business, this is an ideal opportunity for an individual to gain valuable experience to aid them in their health and safety career, working in a high hazard, high risk industry.



Essential requirements:-



NEBOSH general certificate or formal training in safety

Full driving license

Willingness to travel

Excellent I.T. skills

Experience of preparing risk assessments

Willingness to learn



Desirable requirements: -



Experience of developing and implementing ISO systems

Internal auditing

Development of H&S policies and procedures

Environmental management

Process management
