HSE Recruitment are currently working with a phenomenal company in the events industry, in order to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to lead a major project in the UK and internationally. Our client specialises in 'out of the ordinary'. No job is too complex, no idea is too crazy, and as a Health and Safety Manager your role will be to facilitate projects in a safe manner, without limiting creativity. You will work from their London base on a daily basis but will liaise with project teams and clients throughout Europe, Australasia and the Americas. This role offers a huge opportunity to travel, and experience projects from small but high profile events to events that literally stop traffic!

As a Health and Safety Manager, you will be passionate, creative and engaging in your approach. You will be a professional who offers solutions, and who jumps at the opportunity to try new things and make things happen. You will have worked within an industry where events and exhibitions are part and parcel of your role and will have demonstrable and extensive experience of working with project teams from creation to completion on large and small scale events. You will be friendly and able to communicate well - getting instant buy in from external and internal professionals alike but will also know when to delegate. You will have demonstrable experience of working on multiple event projects at any one time, showing excellent time management skills as well as the ability to prioritise and work autonomously. You will be able to follow a complex internal audit process and will closely with senior members of the production team, as well as working closely with the client safety function. It is imperative that you are extremely hands on, and are comfortable working on end to end projects.

You will have a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, although we will look at those working towards it, and will be able to show a fresh approach to safety and events as an industry. In return you will receive a salary of 50-60k per annum (dependent on experience) as well as an excellent benefits package.
