The HSE Network are recruiting on behalf of one of the UKs most prolific game development companies for a part time Health and Safety Officer.



They require a Health and Safety Office to work between their sites in Sheffield, Nottingham and Newcastle to drive a positive health and safety culture within the organisation. Other projects will include; ensuring full compliance of polices is met, conduct risk assessments and audits, deliver health and safety training to employees and provide guidance to ensure all employees, sub-contractors and visitors are able to work in a safe environment.



This role would suit an experienced and technically competent Health and Safety Officer who is commercially minded and has the ability to positively persuade and influence senior figures within an organisation.



As the successful Health and Safety Officer, you will have:

• NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)

• Digital Marketing / IT experience

• Interest within the gaming / game development industry

• Demonstrable track record of working self sufficiently

• Risk Assessment and auditing experience

• Evidence of effective delivery of training



This is a an exciting opportunity to join a thriving company with impressive expansion plans. You will be rewarded with a basic salary up to £25,000 plus benefits package. This is a part time role, where the successful applicant will work any 3 of 5 days per week. Flexibility to work across the whole week is required.
