You have the chance to join a Manufacturing business in Cheshire as their Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. They are a manufacturing business with 4 small sites in the local area with around 150 staff in total. It's a really great opportunity for someone who wants to come in to a business, implement their own ideas, put their own stamp on a business but be part of a down to earth and fast growing business.
With the business recently implementing ISO 9001 what they need is someone who can bring all HSE standard up to the same level of expectation. For example, working to the new ISO 45001 expectations but without gaining the accreditation. You will come in and firstly assess where the business is at then come up with, but not exclusive to the following; plan to address and improve all policies, procedures, risk assessments and method statements. You will create, almost from scratch, HSE policies and procedures that can be used across the group.
• You will have your Nebosh Diploma or equivalent
• Have must have experience within a manufacturing background.
• Experience with ISO Management systems
• A strong, assertive character, who can work autonomously and take ownership for HSE on site in an engaging and pragmatic way.
