You have the chance to join a Global Manufacturing business at one of their sites in Birmingham. An opportunity has arisen to join a team in a standalone role on a site of 50 staff to lead and take ownership of quality, health, safety and environmental. You will be expected to use your own initiative, act autonomously and drive HSEQ from the front.
You will come in and firstly assess the management systems in place and get them through the ISO 9001, 2015 accreditation. You will then review, plan and improve policies, systems and procedures on site, conduct risk assessments and chair the monthly EHS committee meeting's to name a few key points.
• You will be qualified to a minimum of Nebosh certificate (or equivalent).
• Experience working with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 is a must.
• Experience working for an electrical manufacturing or mechanical/engineering background would be beneficial.
• A strong work ethic, self-motivated and take ownership for HSE on site.
For this role you will be remunerated with a salary of between £35,000-40,000 dependant on experience.
