The Executive Network Groups Logistics & Transport Division has been engaged by a leading UK logistics business to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to play an active role in facilitating the Regional Health and Safety business partners aims & objectives across several East Anglia depots.

Health & Safety Manager - £35,000/£38,000
Location – East Anglia (6 Sites)

The role is as you would expect, a good mix of technical compliance to improve site performance mixed with the softer skills to encourage a change in behaviours. You will support the sites with training, ensuring safe working practices, creating and improving risk assessments, accident investigations and ISO systems management. You will work closely with the Operational leadership teams to play a part in a positive health and safety culture, engaging and inspiring Operational site leaders to deliver a safe place to work.

Skills and experience required
• NEBOSH Certificate
• Ideally, delivery/logistics experience would be preferred but other multisite experiences will be considered such as warehousing logistics
• Forward-thinking and confident
• Experience in a similar level role or motivated for that next step in their career
• Extensive experience at risk assessments and hazard spotting.
• Experience at the development and delivery of training.
• Competent IT skills including Web applications, Word and Excel.
• Clean driving license
• Experience in facilitating H&S, Environment, Training & Auditing
