Jo graduated in 2006 from Newcastle University with a degree in Law and French. After deciding (very wisely!) that a legal profession was not for her, Jo embarked on her career in recruitment, and for 4 years worked for an Edinburgh-based specialist recruitment consultancy.
After relocating to Birmingham in August 2010, Jo joined the team at HSE Recruitment Network, and currently works alongside Nicola and Laura on the Contract Division, specifically looking after interim positions within the Public Sector as well as the Food Manufacturing and Service industries.
Outside of work Jo enjoys cooking, skiing, reading and playing netball. She is a massive fan of rugby - but as a spectator only! Jo regularly makes the journey to Murrayfield to watch the Scottish national team in action (yes, a glutton for punishment!) and in 2009 Jo travelled to South Africa to follow the British and Irish Lions on tour - an AMAZing experience!

My favourite pastime is...spending time with my friends and family (and Alice, my pet hedgehog)
My favourite destination is...the Turquoise coast in Turkey - fantastic sailing holiday destination and the food is incredible.
If I wasn't a Recruitment Consultant I would want to be...a travel guide writer
I love to eat...most things!!! I am a bit of a foodie but particularly love sushi.
If I could have dinner with anybody, dead or alive, it would be...JK Rowling - I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and would love to find out more about her incredible imagination.
If I could be invisible for the day I would...sneak on to a plane to Hawaii!
